Working With MOSIS MOSIS publishes fabrication schedule and prices Designer sets up a MOSIS account Designer sends a purchase order to MOSIS Designer sends circuit design to MOSIS MOSIS checks design syntax MOSIS performs design rule check (optional service) MOSIS merges design onto mask set with other customers MOSIS sends tape to mask maker MOSIS sends mask set to wafer fabricator MOSIS tests wafers and extracts SPICE parameters MOSIS sends best wafers to packaging vendor. MOSIS ships parts to customer. When designs are ready for production quantities, two options are available:  1) Users with medium quantity requirements can be included as part of a standard MOSIS run, or  2) Users with larger quantity requirements can request a "dedicated" run through MOSIS, or contact the vendor directly.
