Document Access for Universities
How academic accounts can access vendor proprietary documentation.

To comply with vendor terms and conditions for allowing academic institutions to access proprietary vendor documents, MOSIS regularly reviews document access for all universities. This applies to all types of MOSIS accounts set up for academic institutions, including commercial accounts (domestic or export), and MOSIS Educational Program (MEP) accounts.
Document access is granted to academic institutions for no more than 12 months at a time. An institution requiring continued access to proprietary vendor documents through MOSIS must submit a new Academic Non-Disclosure Agreement every academic year. This requirement applies to all accounts at academic institutions.
To extend document access, complete and return by mail to MOSIS the Academic Account Document Access Application must be provided, containing specific fabrication plans as part of the following:
- Account Information
- Fabrication Plan
- Account Liaison NDA
- List of students, staff, and other faculty that have signed the individual NDA.
Additionally, a Mini-Proposal may be requested.
Please also note that new document access passwords are manually generated every six months and sent to account liaisons, who will be responsible for providing the new password to locally authorized users as needed.
