Select a Process
Select from the
processes and technologies available to you under the MOSIS
Educational Program.
Select a Rule Set
Projects submitted to MOSIS for fabrication can be designed using
either layout design rules and layers specific to a process (vendor
native rules) or (for some
processes)
vendor-independent, scalable rules
(SCMOS
rules). These rule sets cannot be mixed within a
design.
Use SCMOS rules for portability and simplicity.
Native (Vendor) Design Rules
Use vendor specific rules for fine-tuned layout.
Access CAD Tools, Technology Files, Design Kits, Libraries, and IP
A variety of design flows can be used
with a number of different CAD tools, technology files, design kits,
libraries and IP to create designs for
processes
available to MEP participants.
Tools Compatible With
Native (Vendor) Design Rules
Foundries do not support all CAD tools. See
Vendor Native-Rule Design
Kits for guidence.
Tools Compatible With MOSIS Scalable CMOS (SCMOS) Rules
Tools, kits, cells, and technology files are available from a variety
of sources.
Not all processes that also
support SCMOS rules are available to MEP participants. See the
list of processes
available for MEP accounts for guidence.

Submit Layout
Designs can be submitted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The automated
design submission procedure is described in the
Submit A Design To MOSIS Chart.
Answers to common questions are provided in the
Submitting Designs
FAQ.
Track Your Order
Once your design is scheduled for fabrication, you can track the
